A man has been arrested for allegedly issuing fake invoices to claim Rs 177.64-crore input tax credit, the Central GST department said today.

Sports Illustrated Publisher Fires CEO After Controversy Over AI-Written Articles

Sports Illustrated's publisher the Arena Group fired its CEO Ross Levinsohn in response to public outcry over the publication's use of artificial intelligence to write articles. The company also named Manoj Bhargava as interim CEO. In a statement released on its website on Monday, the media behemoth announced the departure of Mr Levinsohn at the same time as its board members convened to discuss ways to "improve (the company's) operational efficiency and revenue." The magazine was accused of publishing AI-generated articles under fake author profiles for its website. The controversy was brought to light by Futurism , a science and technology outlet on November 28. They stated that some of the author bios did not relate to any real human being. వైఎస్సార్ బీమా: ఒక్కొక్కరికి రూ.2 లక్షలు లబ్ది.. జిల్లాలవారీగా ఫోన్ నెంబర్లు ఇవే

జగన్ సర్కార్ రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా పేదలకు లబ్ది చేకూరేలా కొత్త సంక్షేమ పథకాలను అమలు చేస్తోంది. తాజాగా పేదల కోసం మరో కార్యక్రమాన్ని తీసుకొచ్చింది.. బియ్యం కార్డు ఉండి కుటుంబం ఆధార పడ్డ వ్యక్తికి ఏదైనా ప్రమాదం జరిగితే ఆదుకునేందుకు వైఎస్సార్‌ బీమా పథకాన్ని అమలు చేయనుంది. ముఖ్యంగా పేదల కోసం ఈ సంక్షేమ కార్యక్రమాన్ని తీసుకొచ్చింది. గతంలో ఎల్‌ఐసీతో కలసి కేంద్రం ఈ పథకాన్ని అమలు చేసేది. కానీ దీనిని కొద్ది రోజుల క్రితం ఉపసంహరించుకుంది. అయితే పేదల కోసం ఈ పథకాన్ని పూర్తిగా సొంత నిధులతో అమలు చేయాలని ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించింది. రాష్ట్రంలో 1.50 కోట్ల బియ్యం కార్డు ఉన్న కుటుంబాలకు ప్రయోజనం కల్పించే ఈ పథకం కోసం ప్రభుత్వం ఏడాదికి రూ.583.50 కోట్లు ఖర్చు చేయనుంది. బియ్యం కార్డుదారుల కుటుంబం ఆధారపడే 18 ఏళ్ల నుంచి 50 ఏళ్ల వ్యక్తి సహజ మరణం పొందితే బాధిత కుటుంబానికి రూ.2 లక్షలు బీమా పరిహారం ఇస్తారు. శాశ్వత వైకల్యం, ప్రమాదవశాత్తు మరణిస్తే రూ.5 లక్షలు ఇస్తారు. 51 – 70 ఏళ్ల వ్యక్తి శాశ్వత వైకల్యం పొందినా, ప్రమాదవశాత్తు మరణించినా బాధిత కుటుంబానికి రూ.3 లక్షలు అందుతాయి. జిల్లాలవారీగా కాల్ సెంట్లర్ నెంబర్లు ఇలా ఉన్నాయి.
