BRTS buses set ablaze, bus stands vandalised in Surat after arrest of Hardik Patel's aide, Alpesh Kathiriya, in old sedition case

Tension gripped Gujarat's Surat city as mobs set ablaze a BRTS bus and vandalised a bus stand on Sunday night, apparently in protest against the arrest of Patidar quota agitation leader Alpesh Kathiriya, a close aide of Hardik Patel, by the Ahmedabad Crime Branch in an old sedition case.
